Today was a long day of waiting. Amanda’s surgery was first scheduled for 10AM. However, the two operating rooms dedicated for transplant patients were occupied with transplant surgeries, which obviously can’t be scheduled. The surgery was moved back to 1PM, then to 4PM, and finally was put off until first thing tomorrow morning.
Amanda has been in pain all day, still retching and still with a fever. She is pretty miserable, and hates having the N-G tube in. On the bright side, she was scoped at around 4:30 and it looked good. So, we wait some more.
