Dear Friends;
Today has been a terrible day. Amanda has spent the day with abdominal pain along with vomiting. As the day moved on she has gotten worse. Amanda's biopsy came back with moderate rejection which for us is absolutely the worst news. I knew yesterday the scope didn't look as good but I expected mild rejection. 24 hours later on increased steroids Amanda appears to be worse and suffering more. They started her on Morphine around 5 PM, it only lasted an hour by 8 pm they gave her more and by 9pm she had an allergic reaction. They proceeded to medicate for the reaction and are now going to try Duladid for pain. Amanda is suffering; she can't get comfortable and wants to vomit constantly. Now we watch her very carefully. This day has been a very difficult day, watching your child suffer and not much you can do. All you want to do is scream and cry. I will update more tomorrow.
