Dear Friends;
Today was a good day. Amanda enjoyed eating today; some stayed down and some did not but either way it made her happy just being able to taste for the moment. The doctors believe she was experiencing some rejection again and when looking at the biopsy the villi didn't look as good as they should after being on the OKT3 for 2 weeks. So they decided to keep her on a high dose of steroids for a week. Otherwise today was a good day, it definitely is a great feeling watching my child eat a little but enjoying it a lot.
Please remember Nathan's family in your thoughts and prayers this weekend. Stephanie and Marty are having to do every parents nightmare, saying good-bye to their child. I know they will get through this because of their unbelievable faith, strength and wonderful memories. THANK YOU ALL.
