Dear Friends;
Sorry this e-mail is a little late. They doubled Amanda's steroids yesterday and by the evening you could see a difference. Amanda's pain is less and her strength is better. The doctors believe she could be rejecting in other areas they can't see with the scope so that is the reason for doubling up on the steroids. Amanda's day today was much better. The doctors are allowing her to eat a little of a soft diet. Some noodles, potatoes and pudding. She enjoyed it very much. She continues to be nauseated at times but is handling it well. We have no biopsy reports back yet so we wait. Amanda towards the end of the day is tired and with a little more pain. Today was much better, it is great to see her smile and enjoy some pleasures.
