Dear Friends;
Yesterday was a so so day. Amanda had a headache all day. She is also having a little hard time breathing again, the x-ray showed left side lower lobe not inflated and wet, so they gave her some lasix to help get rid of some of that fluid. Amanda spent most of the day sleeping off and on. Her vomiting and nausea is alot less. She gets little bouts but the medication has it under control. This morning she woke up great. We bathed and then went to the play room for about 45 minutes. When she came back she was tired and went to sleep for about 2 hours and now is not feeling so good, her headache is back, so right now she is laying in bed.
I also found out just a little while ago Nathan, the little 4 yr old boy awaiting his 5th liver has to be re-admitted to the unit; he started bleeding again. He had a week of outside of the hospital but as I'm learning things change constantly and the rollercoaster ride is very difficult to be on. Otherwise another day has almost passed and life continues on.
Mike and I love hearing for you so please continue to e-mail; it helps. Amanda is also enjoying the e-mails, especially from the girls, they make her happy.
