Dear Friends,
Well today the news was not good. Amanda this morning started bleeding through her colostomy, the doctors scoped her and it didn't look good - she is severely rejecting. There is really no more they can do except what they are already doing, continuing giving her heavy doses of immune suppression meds and steroids. Amanda has to be on this OKT3 for 14 days we are on day 4 today and we are praying that this will stop the rejection and only time will tell. If this does not stop the rejection I'm afraid that we may have to transplant again. Amanda seems to be in more discomfort today but we still got her up into a chair twice for about 2 hours each time. Otherwise now we wait and believe in our miracle. Today was a very rough day.
