Dear Friends,

Today seemed to be for Amanda a more comfortable day. Things are about the same. She continues to need O2 and have difficulties breathing. She did though have just a little fever and got up to sit in a chair twice throughout the day. The biopsy did come back with more rejection and so we continue treating her on OKT3, the Doctors say she will probably be on for 14 days in addition to all her other steroids and immune suppression medications. Due to Amanda having to take this very strong medication, what it does is wipe out her immune system so she will not have one and therefore will not be able to fight off any kind of infection and right now that would be too dangerous for her to get any kind of infection. So for that reason now she will not be able to have any outside visitors. Anybody in contact with her must wear mask, gloves and a gown when with her. She does ask to see her friends and go back to school and when she is able we think it will be great for her to have her visitors but for now it is way too dangerous for her to be exposed to anything. She also had to have a unit of blood due to her blood count being low. We appreciate all the e-mails and prayers.

Thanks

with love
