Today we received our worst news yet, Amanda has been diagnosed with moderate rejection. This could explain her severe bouts of fever and pain. The doctors are increasing her steroid doses to combat the rejection. They say that they have had success with this procedure. At this point we're not sure of what happens if the steroids don't work. The doctors are dealing with this one step at a time. Our baby is fighting hard and trying to talk with us when she's awake. The fevers and medication keep her drowsy most of the day. My wife and I are keeping it together but its getting harder everyday.
Amanda has not been able to read any of your e-mails yet. She has seen the posters that have been sent and some of the cards. Please keep sending the cards and e-mails, she'll eventually get to read them when she beats this recent set back.
