Dear Friends,

Well today Amanda got up into a chair today and spent 2 hours sitting. She finally was able to take sips of a slushy but again more mental because it comes back out of her NG tube and that friends was the better part of the day. She continues to have fevers. At 4 pm she shot up to 103.7 and hasn't come down yet. She also began wanting to try to vomit continuously while complaining of pain in her stomach. Amanda states she feels sick to her stomach and doesn't feel good. Her colostomy has an increasing amount of fluid coming out as well as her J tube, these things are not good. So today although it was nice to see her up in a chair, was not a good day and continues to be bad for Amanda. Once again for us as parents it is heartbreaking to see her suffer.

We have met the parents of a little boy of a liver transplant. They are very nice people and today was there little boy Nathan's 4th B-day and they celebrated it in the play room.  This family and little boy are very special. He is on his fourth liver transplant and they found out due to bleeding he now has to have his fifth. So I'm asking our friends to please keep Nathan and his family in their thoughts and prayers. Thanks so much for all your support.

Love
