Monica and Mike were very tired, so Mike asked me to handle today's update. Amanda's rough days are continuing. She is still in a lot of pain since they operated on Friday. The good news is that her j-g tube is not leaking anymore.
Mike and Monica have had to rely on their years of experience in dealing with doctors and nurses. The vast majority of the staff here at Jackson is dedicated, experienced and smart. But none know Amanda's case, and her ways of dealing with pain, like her parents. It doesn't help that they aren't getting enough sleep and their nerves are frayed. The family is doing our best to see that the mundane needs of life are taken care of for them.
