Amanda had a painful day today. The doctors had a hard time regulating the pain. It's very hard too watch your child whither in pain. The doctors are very impressed by her progress. Tomorrow she under goes her second scope and biopsy for rejection. She will also receive her 3rd dose of chempath, which is critical to her recovery. Hopefully there will be no reaction to the drug.
My mother is in ICU and resting comfortable under the morphine drip. Her left femur went though her knee cap, exploding her knee. The right heal is shattered. Left arm is broken in two places. The gash on her left arm was stapled closed. Mom is scheduled for surgery tomorrow to repair her left leg. At this time there were no internal injuries.
On a positive note, Monica's birthday is wed the 5th. She'll be turning the big 40. Please send Happy Birthday messages!
