Amanda had an OK day yesterday. She has a wicked cough and has thrown up a couple of times. She is complaining that she doesn't feel good. Lelo brought Sammy and Sabrina to visit Amanda last night while Monica and I snuck out for dinner with Aunt Sandra and Uncle John and friends. It was a quiet night.

Today Amanda is looking and feeling worse than yesterday. She complains of pain and not feeling good. The scope on Friday came back with mild rejection even though her immune levels are at zero. Hard to explain this one. They scoped her again this morning and she actually looked better than Friday, who knows what's going on anymore. Amanda still doesn't look good. She is swollen to the max from the steroids. She has what they call a buffalo hump on her back, shoulder area. They are keeping the steroids high along with the immune suppression drugs to help fend off rejection. We are still walking when we can to help with the lungs and the pain. She just hasn't had the oomph yesterday and today.

The Moms of Marco are holding a video drive to collect new and used age appropriate movies to donate to Amanda and to the hospital when she leaves. The movies can be dropped off at the Moms of Marco meeting Monday the 14th, 6pm at Mackle park or call Anne Colpaert at 389-1008 or e-mail her at AColpaert@aol.com. Thanks again to Anne and all the Moms of Marco for their help.

Once again, we thank everyone for their caring support and acts of kindness,
Mike and Monica
