Dear Friends;
Today was a rough day. Amanda woke up to her colostomy bag leaking so we had to change it again. Her skin around the stoma is so red with broken down areas. This gives her an extreme amount of pain that really is hard to control. Amanda also had a scope today and although it doesn't look like severe rejection it didn't look great. The villi are flat and have alot of mucous. The afternoon was better but Amanda just doesn't feel right today. Otherwise we watched movies and basically rested today. Amanda is able to eat a soft bland diet and is enjoying it at the time but after she is still experiencing pain.
